2 bulan lagi kita bisa liat acting Rihanna di film sci-fi Battleship! kemungkinan besar rilis lebih dulu di Indonesia, baru di US :)

HASBRO, perusahaan mainan terbesar, menggandeng Studio Universal Pictures sudah menyiapkan film barunya berjudul Battleship.

Baru saja, Universal Pictures merilis trailer film yang ditujukan sebagai pengganti Transformers. Secara sepintas, trailernya langsung mengingatkan penonton dengan Transformers: Dark of the Moon, lengkap dengan scoring musik pengiring, pesawat, robot dan ledakan luar biasa sampai spesial efek dahsyat khas Transformers.

Battleship diproduseri sekaligus disutradarai Peter Berg, dan naskah ditulis oleh Erich Hoeber serta Jon Hoeber bercerita tentang pertempuran manusia melawan alien misterius yang muncul dari tengah laut.

Battleship menampilkan armada angkatan laut internasional di Pearl Harbor yang terlibat dalam pertempuran besar-besaran melawan ras alien yang disebut sebagai The Refents. Para alien tiba di planet bumi dengan misi mendapatkan sumber daya di laut.

Film tersebut diadaptasi dari salah satu game klasik keluaran Hasbro yang dulu sempat sangat populer. Dibintangi oleh Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgard, dan penyanyi wanita terpopuler saat ini, Rihanna.

Produk Rihanna "RIRI" ternyata sudah banyak beredar di kalangan selebritis. Rencananya dalam Januari ini, pakaian dalam "RIRI" segera hadir untuk umum. Model renda dan lingerie terusan adalah desain andalan "RIRI". 

Menurut perancang pribadi Rihanna, koleksi "RIRI" akan bernuansa kasual. Tidak kampungan. Lebih pentung, "RIRI" aman karena tak menggunakan zat kimia berbahaya.

2012: Radiohead, Rihanna dan Eminem Konser di Indonesia?

Tahun 2011 lalu, penikmat musik tanah air (baca: Jakarta) dimanjakan dengan konser-konser musisi mancanegara macam Justin Bieber, Linkin Park, 50 Seconds To Mars, dan 50 Cent. Sebuah pertanda bagus bagi atmosfir industri musik Indonesia, sebab musisi luar sudah mulai melirik Indonesia sebagai tempat yang strategis dalam mengadakan konser.

Lantas bagaimana dengan tahun 2012 ini? Tren konser musisi manca sepertinya masih akan berlanjut dan bahkan meningkat. Dalam waktu dekat saja, 19 Januari nanti, super pop-star Katy Perry bakal mengadakan di Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor, Jakarta. Kedatangan penyanyi kelas dunia seperti Katy tentu akan membuat kenikmatan para pecinta konser di Indonesia tak akan terputus. Band rock progresif yang punya fans fanatik, Dream Theatre juga masuk dalam daftar konser di Indonesia yang wajib tonton di 2012.

Masih belum cukup dengan jajaran musisi yang bakal meramaikan rangkaian konser 2012, akun @infojakarta yang biasa menginformasikan event-event besar di Jakarta mengeposkan di akun mereka info yang membuat para pecinta konser makin berteriak kegirangan.

Jika benar mereka datang ke Indonesia, hal ini akan menjadi kado istimewa bagi pecinta musik tanah air. Kita tunggu saja kabar resmi mengenai rumor ini. Cross your fingers everyone :)

   Penyanyi Rihanna rupanya sangat mengagumi aktris legendaris Marilyn Monroe. Ia pun rela merogoh koceknya 65 ribu poundsterling atau sekitar Rp 1,4 miliar hanya demi membeli lukisan bergambar Marilyn. Apa istimewanya lukisan itu?

Lukisan tersebut berharga cukup mahal karena terbuat dari 65 ribu kristal Swarovski. Lukisan seberat 82,5 kg dan setinggi 1,5 meter itu merupakan karya dari seniman Inggris, Claire Milner.

Claire butuh waktu empat bulan untuk menyelesaikan lukisan istimewa tersebut. Dia menaruh 65 ribu kristal ke dalam lukisan itu dengan tangannya di studionya di Yorkshire, Inggris.

Rihanna rela menambah bayarannya agar lukisan tersebut bisa dikirim langsung ke rumahnya di Beverly Hills, Amerika Serikat. Ia menyukainya karena karya seni tersebut bisa terus-menerus berubah warna, memercikkan cahaya pelangi ke sekeliling ruangan.

"Aku mencoba untuk menampilkan kemergelapan dan kesedihan dalam hidup Marilyn melalui matanya," ujar Claire yang sebelumnya sudah membuat karya serupa pada David Beckham dan Elvis.

"Karena ini akan dibeli Rihanna, semuanya harus disesuaikan dengan dekorasi interiornya. Tapi mereka bilang padaku kalau dia menyukainya," tambah Claire seperti dikutip The Sun.

Sementara itu menurut seorang sumber, Rihanna sebenarnya merasa kehidupannya mirip dengan Marilyn. Pelantun 'We Found Love' itu merasa mendapatkan tekanan yang sama seperti aktris tersebut, gara-gara kepopulerannya.
